<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method capable of easily securing suitable quality in patterning to a building material. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording method, an initial speed of discharged ink droplets is 3 m/sec to 16 m/sec in the case of patterning a building material 70 using an inkjet recorder 1, and a carrying process and an inkjet recording process are included. In the carrying process, the plurality of building materials 70 are successively carried by a carrying part 10. In the inkjet recording process, ink is discharged from a recording part 30 installed at a position separated in the vertical direction from a carrying surface 12 of the carrying part 10, where it is possible to allow the variation of the height of a recording surface 72 with the carrying surface 12 as a reference in the state that the successively carried building materials 70 pass through the recording part 30.
