<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail printer and a print control method, preventing a situation that printing is erroneously performed to an improper position when a finger moves during printing to cause a shift of the finger or separation of the finger from a finger placing base. <P>SOLUTION: This nail printer associates coordinate values of an outline of a fingernail image I1 obtained by photographing a print finger U1 by a photographing part 30 and coordinate values of a nail area Ta included in the fingernail image I1 and store them in a storage part 51, thereafter detects an outline L1 of the print finger U1 placed on finger placing means by finger position detection means 70, stores coordinate values of the detected outline L1 of the print finger U1 in the storage part 51, compares the coordinate values of the outline L1 of the print finger U1 and the coordinate values of the outline of the fingernail image I1 stored in the storage part 51 when performing the printing onto the nail area Ta by a printing part 40 according to printing data based on the coordinate values of the nail area Ta, and stops the printing onto the nail area Ta by the printing part 40 when two sides are deviated by a prescribed value or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
