<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for a dye-sensitized solar cell capable of achieving sufficient ion diffusion speed while suppressing leakage and volatilization of an electrolytic solution causing function of the dye-sensitized solar cell to be degraded, and to provide the dye-sensitized solar cell which is high in photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte for the dye-sensitized solar cell is an electrolyte which is used for the dye-sensitized solar cell formed by being equipped with at least a photoelectrode containing an oxide metal carrying dye, the electrolyte containing chemical species capable of oxidation-reduction reaction, and a counter electrode. The electrolyte contains a crystal compound having ionic viscosity, and cation constituting the crystal compound having the ionic viscosity contains nitrogen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
