<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can improve a phenomenon of conductive relay or insufficient pixel charging due to low driving signals, and a method for driving the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel, a gate driving unit 44, a clock generator 46, and a temperature compensation unit 50. The liquid crystal panel has a pixel array 42. The gate driving unit 44 generates a plurality of driving signals to drive the pixel array 42. The clock generator 46 is electrically connected to the gate driving unit 44. The temperature compensation unit 50 is electrically connected to the gate driving unit 44 and the clock generator 46 and controls the output of the clock generator 46 based on temperature changes to compensate for the driving signals of the gate driving unit 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
