<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of confirming the detail of a video even when a low-resolution video display device is connected to a high-resolution monitor camera, thereby being capable of quick and accurate focusing. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: an imaging element which converts a subject image within a field of view to an electric signal and outputs the electric signal as high resolution video; and a video processing part which performs processing such as video correction and digitalization on the high resolution video. The video processing part cuts out, from the high resolution video, plural partial images desired to focus, outputs the partial images to the low-resolution video display device, and focuses the high-resolution video of the imaging device with the partial images of the low-resolution video display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
