<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen with which a tip 1 can be electrically continuous with a user's hand holding the input pen and in which the tip 1 can be securely attached to a tip metal 2. <P>SOLUTION: An input pen is used for an input device that is operated by the input pen or a finger in an operation area, and detects an operation position in the operation area on the basis of a change in the quantity of electricity accompanying a capacitance change to input the operation position. A tip 1 of the input pen is composed of conductive rubber. The tip 1 is inserted into a tip metal 2 composed of a metal having conductivity and fixed with an internal protrusion 2D formed on the tip metal 2, and an end portion of the tip 1 is protruded from the tip metal 2.
