[Abstract] An input device for inputting a position on a touch panel by coming into contact with a capacitive touch panel comprises an insulating layer (11) having flexibility, and a conductive layer (12) laminated onto the insulating layer 11. An input device (10) is a laminate body of a multi-laminate of units composed of the insulating layer (11) and the conductive layer (12) and is a cylindrical shape and hereby it is possible for the user to tend not to have a sense of wear and tear of the finger while improving the accuracy of the position detected by the touch panel, and further to provide an input device for a capacitive touch panel that tends not to lose a means of input even if the input device is lost, and that tends not to cause scratches and so forth on the surface of the touch panel.
