COMMUNITY-BASED SMART HOME SYSTEM

A method for deployment of a community-based smart home system through a shared and remotely located smart home controller. The inventive system aims to enable a rapid and mass deployment of a smart home and a smart home community that will eventually eliminate the need of an individual home-based smart home controller for a house. The inventive system comprises a plurality of device interface modules positioned within a house, a community-based smart home controller located at remote location, wherein constantly in communication with the plurality of device interface modules via the internet. The inventive system enables a user to view, monitor and control various electronic devices at house through a web-based user interface. In addition, the inventive system also helps to bolster interactivity among the member of a smart home community and the guard station via the user interface and the community interface provided.
