PURPOSE: An ultraviolet curable organic-inorganic hybrid composition for coating a plastic substrate is provided to have the strength, hardness, and thermal characteristic of inorganic components and the thermoplasticity and elasticity of organic components at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet curable organic-inorganic hybrid composition for coating a plastic substrate comprises (a) 60-95 weight% of an inorganic component including an inorganic precursor material, silane coupling material, and co-solvent, and (b) 5-40 weight% of an organic component including an ultraviolet curable oligomer, monomer, and photoinitiator.
