FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves a first preparation step, a second preparation step and final adding, where: molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea and melamine (F:(U+M)) at the first preparation step ranges from about 2.0 to about 5.0; molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea and melamine (F:(U+M)) at the second preparation step ranges from about 1.5 to about 3.0; and molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea and melamine (F:(U+M)) during final adding ranges from about 0.4 to about 0.70. ^ EFFECT: obtaining melamine-urea-formaldehyde resins which are stable during storage and articles made therefrom, having good physical properties and low formaldehyde emission. ^ 20 cl, 3 ex, 6 tbl |
