<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a device by enabling suction/discharge to be switched by one operation. <P>SOLUTION: This suction/discharge switching valve switches suction/discharge by a pump driven by a motor and includes a suction section being one side of a body and a discharge section being the other side. The suction section includes a suction path connecting the pump and a suction port together and an invalid suction path to be used corresponding the time of suction. The suction path is divided into a first suction path 4a being the pump side and a second suction path being the suction port side via a suction side switching chamber. The first and second suction paths and the invalid path open to the suction side switching chamber and a switching plate 10 is abutted on the opening ends. The discharge section includes a discharge path connecting the discharge path and the pump together and the invalid discharge path to be used corresponding the time of suction. The discharge path is divided into a first discharge path 7a being the pump side and a second discharge path being the discharge port side via the discharge side switching chamber.
