<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blurring of a letter or the like in recording with reduced font size and reduced resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 records a font on a recording medium by a recording head 36 based on recording data including data of letters to be recorded. The printer records by switching a mode between a special recording mode which carries out either of recording with the resolution converted to a resolution lower than the maximum print resolution of the recording head 36 and recording with the font converted to a font size smaller than a specified font, and a normal recording mode which carries out recording with the specified font at the maximum recording resolution of the recording head 36. In recording font data in the special recording mode, if a setting for decorating at least part of the font is made, a part including the font data is recorded in the normal recording mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
