<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical film having excellent cutting accuracy by cutting an original film of an optical film including a polarizer using an edged tool, which suppresses generations of crack and fluff, and in an optical film constituted as a laminated film, prevents laminates from being peeled off from each other. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film which manufactures an optical film by cutting an original film of an optical film including a polarizer using an edged tool, the original film of the optical film is cut in a state in which the polarizer is heated so that the temperature of the polarizer becomes higher than an atmospheric temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
