<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill process, the agent having such properties when used for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element by a one-drop-fill process, that a sealing agent pattern is free of deformation or fracture even when a liquid crystal cell manufactured by laminating substrates under reduced pressure is taken out into an environment at normal pressure, and to provide a vertical conducting material and a liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing agent for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill process contains a curable resin component and a solid component. When a viscosity of the agent measured by an E-type viscometer under conditions of 25°C and 1.0 rpm is denoted by (a) (Pa s) and a weight ratio of the solid component is denoted by (b) (wt.%), (a/b) ranges from 9.5 to 35. The curable resin component contains a curable resin satisfying at least the following condition (1) or (2) by 15 to 30 wt.%, and shows a sample fracture time of 100 seconds or more measured by a stretch viscosity measurement method (A) using a laser beam. The conditions are: (1) the resin has a viscosity of 800 Pa s or more measured by an E-type viscometer under the conditions of 25°C and 1.0 rpm; and (2) the resin is solid at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
