<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check device for a vehicle capable of suppressing the generation of abnormal noise, and holding a vehicle door at an arbitrary open/closed position without damaging operability. <P>SOLUTION: The door check device for a vehicle includes: a pair of cam recesses 20 disposed in a case 12 so as to be symmetrical on both sides in the short direction relative to a check bar 11 and provided with a cam surface 20a molded so as to separate from the check bar 11 in the short direction as approaching both sides in the longitudinal direction of the check bar 11 from a prescribed neutral position; a pair of rotating bodies 21 provided with a rotary shaft 21a housed in the cam recess 20 and circumscribing the cam surface 20a and a disk-like wheel part 21b circumscribing the check bar 11; and a pair of coil springs 22 whose one end part is fixed to the cam recess 20 and other end part is fixed to the rotary shaft 21a, and which energizes the rotating body 21 so as to hold the rotary shaft 21a at the neutral position and making the check bar 11 be held by both wheel parts 21b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
