The present invention is a biometric sound testing device which estimates the state of a living subject with precision by obtaining biometric sound, and is provided with: a first biometric measurement unit (101) which generates a first biometric sound signal for a first subject portion of the organism; a second biometric sound measurement unit (102) which generates a second biometric sound signal for a second subject portion, a subject portion positioned closer to the sound source of the biometric sound than the first subject portion; a power ratio calculating unit (304) which calculates the power ratio of the first biometric sound signal in relation to the power of the second biometric sound signal; a disease gain calculating unit (305) which calculates, as one of the biometric sound characteristics, the characteristic index of the transmission of biometric sound in the living subject, by performing a calculation that reduces the impact of the inspiratory flow rate and/or body build of the living subject on the power ratio; a power calculation unit (301) which calculates the first power, the power of the second biometric sound signal occurring in the first frequency band; a malady high frequency power ratio calculating unit (303) which calculates the sound source characteristic indicator of the biometric sound as another one of the biometric sound characteristics, by performing a computation that reduces the impact of the inspiratory flow rate and/or body build of the living subject on the first power. |
