<p>A method for applying a code (36) onto a substrate (39) is described, said code (36) comprising a plurality of code elements obtained by printing inks having specific conductive properties, wherein the digital information associated with the code can be extracted through the use of radio frequency by subjecting said code elements to an alternating or variable electric field, said method comprising the steps of: making a polymeric structure (19) comprising a film (11) and at least one layer (32,34) of polymeric material; printing said code (36) onto said at least one layer (32,34) of polymeric material; applying an adhesive layer (38) onto said at least one layer (32,34) of polymeric material or onto said substrate (39); applying said polymeric structure (19) onto said substrate (39); transferring said code (36) from said polymeric structure (19) to said substrate (39).</p> |
