<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device that prevents settings of the device from being unintentionally changed by a general user, and an image processing device. <P>SOLUTION: An information input device includes: a display unit that displays an information input screen; and a touch panel that is arranged superimposed on the display unit, and identifies a position specified on the information input screen. When a predetermined key is pressed, the display unit displays a first screen 240 that includes a predetermined area 242 including a character, a symbol or a figure; when a position within the predetermined area 242 is identified by the input device, the display unit displays a second screen, and information indicating a transition from the first screen to the second screen is not displayed on the predetermined area 242. Accordingly, the likelihood that the predetermined area 242 is pressed and the second screen for changing settings of the device is displayed is reduced, and thereby the settings of the device are prevented from being unintentionally changed by a general user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
