<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase rigidity in a hollow driven-side gear. <P>SOLUTION: This air passage opening/closing device includes a case 11 forming an opening 24 in an air passage, a slide door 26 having a door body part 30 formed into a plate shape and slidably disposed within the case 11 to open/close the opening 24, and a gear mechanism 31 driving the slide door 26. The gear mechanism 31 has the driven-side gear 32 molded integrally with the door body part 30, and a driven-side gear 33 meshing with the driven-side gear 32. The driven-side gear 32 is formed such that a part surrounded by a tooth face 32a, a tooth crest 32b and a side face 32c is hollow, and the tooth crest 32b and the side face 32c are smoothly connected together without forming any angular part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
