<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which maintains drainage and prevents shoulder wear due to uneven ground contact pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes: a plurality of main grooves 3 extending along a tire circumferential direction; and shoulder lateral grooves 5 extending to the outside in a tire width direction WD from the shoulder of the main grooves 3 positioned at the outermost part in the tire width direction WD among the main grooves 3, which are disposed on a tread surface 2. A hollow 6 not exposed to a surface of a shoulder block 4 is formed on a wall surface of a shoulder block 4 facing the shoulder lateral grooves 5. Further, the hollow 6 is formed so that the height H of the hollow 6 in a depth direction DD of each of the shoulder lateral grooves 5 is reduced toward the inside in the tire width direction WD, and an exposure length L of the hollow becomes long as the shoulder block 4 is worn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
