<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which a unit comprising a plurality of play item groups is organized to play a game using the unit as a unit. <P>SOLUTION: Before playing a game, whether each play item is a main play item or a sub-play item is specified on the play item group comprising a plurality of play items laid on a play field on the basis of each peculiar information read out by a play item reading-out means, and the unit comprising information formed by relating the sub-play item peculiar information to the specified main play item peculiar information is stored in a memory means.
