<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an operation such as lifting and conveyance safely and reliably even in the lifting operation with a lifting angle, and to prevent the damage of a clamp. <P>SOLUTION: The horizontal lifting clamp 10 clamps and holds a work set on a work insertion port 13 of a body 11 between a cam 14 and a receiving metal 21, wherein a link 18 is connected between a lifting ring 20 and the cam 14, the link is freely rotatable on a first vertical plane, the lifting ring is freely rotatable on a second vertical plane substantially vertical to the first vertical plane, and therefore, the lifting ring is universally-omnidirectionally rotatable. A blade 20 projected outward on both sides as compared to the width of the body is disposed on the under side of the lifting ring. The lifting ring freely rotates while following-up a lifting angle until the lifting angle of the clamp, which holds the work therebetween, reaches a predetermined angle θ1. When the lifting angle is inclined by the θ1 or more, the blade is brought into contact with the upper end part of the body, pushes up the link in the principle of a lever, and thereby increasing the clamping force of the cam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
