<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the shape of the rolls by changing the temperature of casting rolls during casting with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a twin roll continuous caster in which a pool of molten metal is formed between a pair of casting rolls, and a thin metal strip is manufactured by being drawn from the portion between the casting rolls, and each of the casting rolls includes a sleeve having a plurality of cooling channels in the circumferential direction, the twin roll continuous caster including a cooling device for supplying cooling fluid to the cooling channels to cool the casting rolls. The twin roll continuous caster includes a temperature regulating medium supply device 29 having a plurality of temperature regulating channels 9 formed in the circumferential direction radially inside the cooling channels 8 provided to the sleeve 7, and a temperature regulating medium 26 whose temperature is regulated is supplied from an inlet port 19 at one end of the temperature regulating channel 9 to an outlet port 14 at the other end thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
