<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printout appropriate for bookbinding without using a high-capacity storage device or a high-speed processing device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus for printing a printed sheet according to a selected bookbinding method comprises: a scanner 10 which reads a document image; an image accumulation part 13 which accumulates the read document image data; a printer 11; an operation display part 12 for inputting a reading start page number of the document; and a control part 15 having count means to count the number of sheets of the printed sheet which has been printed. In the apparatus, the control part 15 calculates the page number of the document to be read and display it on the operation display part 12 for printing a next printed sheet in an order appropriate for the selected bookbinding method from the input reading start page number and the counted number of the printed sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
