摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in a conventional engine starting torque transmission mechanism that, since components after a ring gear 3 for transmitting starting torque from a starter motor 2 and a pinion gear 2P to a crank shaft 18 are assembled one by one, the assembling takes a long time and higher labor cost, and finishing is not uniform, thus causing a variation. <P>SOLUTION: Portions from a ring gear 3 which is a mechanism for transmitting starting torque to immediately before the crank shaft 18 are formed into a unit as a transmission mechanism unit 30. An engine starting torque transmission mechanism is completed only by assembling the transmission mechanism unit 30, and consequently the assembling is finished in an extremely short period of time, labor cost is reduced.
