ALTIMETRIC MEASUREMENT DEVICE

An altimetric measurement device (100) incorporates a LIDAR System (10) and a stereoscopic imaging system (20), which share a single radiation collector (5). Altimetric measurements which are produced by the stereoscopic imaging system may be calibrated by measurements which are produced simultaneously by the LIDAR system. This device makes it possible to propagate the precision of the LIDAR to the measurement span of the stereoscopic imager. In an enhancement of the device, impacts of a radiation implemented by the LIDAR system may appear in additional images which are captured. In this way, sites corresponding to the altimetric measurements of the LIDAR system appear directly in relief maps which are produced by the stereoscopic imaging system.
