PURPOSE: A device for an optical isolator and the optical isolator using the same are provided to change the angel of a polarization surface of incident light and outgoing light by reiterating reflection by using a first magnetic layer and a reflecting layer. CONSTITUTION: A magneto-optical memory(13) uses a magneto-optic effect. A first polarizer(1) is formed on one end of an optical path of the magneto-optical memory. A second polarizer(2) is formed on the other end of the optical path. A first magnetic layer(14) revolves a polarization surface of incident light which is entered by passing the first polarizer. The first magnetic layer reflects the incident light. A reflecting layer(15) returns the reflected incident light to the first magnetic layer. An adjusting part adjusts reflection frequency between the first magnetic layer and the reflecting layer. |
