<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a semiconductor electrode that is used for forming a dye-sensitized solar battery electrode, and that has an excellent reverse electron protection performance, an excellent resistance against an electrolyte, and a stable and high conversion efficiency without decreasing over time. <P>SOLUTION: In a substrate for a semiconductor electrode, a titanium oxide system protection layer is formed on a conductive substrate. The titanium oxide system protection layer includes an amorphous continuous layer 51a formed of amorphous titanium oxide containing an alkoxy group, and a granular crystal layer 51b in which microcrystal titanium dioxide particles with a particle diameter of 30 nm or less are continued. An interface layer 51c in which the amorphous titanium oxide and the microcrystal titanium dioxide particles coexist is formed between the amorphous continuous layer and the granular crystal layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
