<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent oxygen concentrator which eliminates a check valve as the source of troubles and attains long-term stable performance. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator includes: a compressor 3 which supplies raw material air; a plurality of adsorption tubes 12 and 13 which adsorb nitrogen in the raw material air supplied from the compressor 3 and concentrate oxygen; and solenoid valves 8 and 9 which correspond to the adsorption tubes 12 and 13, respectively, and switchably open and close the adsorption tubes 12 and 13 supplying the raw material air from the compressor 3. The solenoid valves 8 and 9 are pilot type solenoid valves 8 and 9 which open and close when pilot air is introduced from the compressor 3. An orifice 31 is provided in a pilot air channel introducing the pilot air. Even when an abrupt change occurs in the discharge pressure of the compressor 3, a change in pilot air pressure is delayed. Even when the discharge pressure of the compressor 3 is reduced instantaneously, the pressure of the pilot air is maintained, to prevent backflow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
