<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in a constitution in which a drawing processing module and an image processing module which cannot be forcibly stopped are connected in series, it may take a considerable time for a printer to complete the job cancel of a user for a job cancel request by the user, thereby impairing convenience because it is impossible to forcibly stop according to the job cancel request during printing and during the execution of processing by the drawing processing module and the image processing module. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a means for determining the propriety of stopping an output destination for determining whether the latter image processing module can be stopped or not for the request of forced stopping during the drawing processing. When it is impossible to stop it as a result of determination by the means for determining the propriety of stopping the output destination, a required number of pixel data having predetermined color values for completing the image processing by the image processing module is transmitted.
