<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-wall carbon nanotube-dispersed and mixed aqueous gel in which a predetermined quantity of distilled water is added to carbon nanotubes, particularly unrefined multi-wall carbon nanotubes, and stirred, thereby resulting in an aqueous gel body composed of multi-wall carbon nanotubes adjusted to a concentration of 0.3 to 5 wt.%, and the multi-wall nanotube-dispersed and mixed aqueous gel is changed in property considering accommodation of application to various uses, a manufacturing method therefor, and various industrial products to which the obtained material is applied. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined quantity of distilled water is added to unrefined multi-wall carbon nanotubes and stirred. Alternatively, while a predetermined quantity of distilled water is added to unrefined multi-wall carbon nanotubes, ultrasonic waves are irradiated thereto for a predetermined amount of time and a predetermined number of times. As a result, a multi-wall carbon nanotube-dispersed and mixed aqueous gel that has been changed to have desired properties is obtained as an aqueous gel body composed of multi-wall carbon nanotubes adjusted to a concentration of 0.3-5 wt.% is obtained. Electromagnetic wave absorbing materials, building materials, electrolytic solutions for storage batteries, materials suitable for meeting electrochemical demands using effects of suppressing ion dispersion and electrophoresis, and the like can be provided through use of the multi-wall carbon nanotube-dispersed and mixed aqueous gel as a material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
