<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment throwing method using a tremie pipe, which can suppress diffusion of pollution while preventing the tremie pipe from being clogged with sediment to be thrown in, and a sediment throwing device. <P>SOLUTION: Sediment S transported by a conveyor belt 8 is thrown onto the bottom of water through a tremie pipe 2 from a hopper 3, while water W higher in density than water existing near a water surface on a job site for throwing the sediment S is pumped up through a suction pipe 4 by means of a suction pump 5 and injected into the pipe through the hopper 3 from an upper end of the tremie pipe 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
