<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor rotation control method which realizes smooth rotation and accurate stop position control, and a shooting device for obtaining a shot image which does not cause a user to feel a sense of discomfort by including a stepping motor controlled by such a stepping motor rotation control method. <P>SOLUTION: The stepping motor rotation control method controls rotation of a stepping motor to which a first excitation mode in which rotation is made at a first step angle α or a second excitation mode in which rotation is made at a second step angle β which is larger than the first step angle α is applied. When rotation is made from a stop position corresponding to the second excitation mode (for example, θ0) to a next stop position in the second excitation mode (for example, θ4), control is performed with a control clock pulse CPc having a clock period Tdc in which a movement period Tmc making a movement at the first step angle α and a stop period Tsc in which a stop is maintained at a next stop position (for example, θ4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
