<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement evaluation method for a machine tool, which facilitates displacement evaluation of the machine in a short period of time and which is capable of recognizing displacement of the machine in analog quantity. <P>SOLUTION: For a machine tool having X, Y, Z axes orthogonally crossing each other, a displacement evaluation workpiece 61 having a groove working face 61b, for example, is set in such a manner that the groove working face 61b is inclined relative to the X axis direction and that a side 61b-1 in one end of the groove working face 61b is parallel to the Y axis direction. In this state, groove working is carried out in which a linear groove 63 is formed on the groove working face 61b by moving a tool 62 in the X axis direction and not in the Z axis direction. In addition, this groove working is performed each time the tool 62 is made to move successively in the Y axis direction, and the linear grooves 63 in each line is made to be parallel to one another, and displacement in the Z axis direction is evaluated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
