<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction device which excellently controls reproduction of a content including reproduction limitation information. <P>SOLUTION: The reproduction device of this embodiment is provided with setting means, detection means, and reproduction control means. The setting means sets first restriction information for restricting viewing by a person younger than a first age. The detection means detects, from a content including plural programs, second restriction information which restricts viewing by a person younger than a second age, the second restriction information being set to a first program included in the plural programs.
