摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus capable of reducing an unnecessary echo on the outside of a flaw detection area and increasing the intensity of an inner echo. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus includes: at least one transmitting array probe arranged around a contact medium for a flaw detection target coated with the contact medium and applies an ultrasonic beam to the flaw detection target through the contact medium; at least one receiving array probe arranged around the contact medium and receives a reflected wave echo of the ultrasonic beam by an acoustic discontinuous part through the contact medium; and a flaw detection controller for subjecting the transmitting array probe and the receiving array probe to transmission/reception control for exciting the transmitting array probe and receiving a signal indicating a reflected wave echo from the receiving array probe, and subjecting at least one of the transmitting array probe and the receiving array probe to beam control so that a transmitting main lobe and a receiving main lobe are superposed to each other in the flaw detection target and are not superposed to each other on the outside of the flaw detection target. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
