<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque measurement unit for a brake dynamometer, which accurately measures a brake torque and a drag torque in a brake respectively. <P>SOLUTION: A torque measurement unit 100 includes an internal oscillation shaft 111 for supporting a caliper 92 of a disk brake 90. The internal oscillation shaft 111 is supported inside a cylindrically formed external oscillation shaft 106 so as to be freely oscillated via hydrostatic bearings 110a, 110b, 110c. The external oscillation shaft 106 is supported on a support body 103 in an axially oscillation possible state. A front lock mechanism 112 and a rear lock mechanism 118 are arranged at the both ends of the external oscillation shaft 106, so as to detachably fix the internal oscillation shaft 111. An inner shaft load cell 126 and an external shaft load cell 108 are arranged in the internal oscillation shaft 111 and the external oscillation shaft 106, so as to measure a brake torque and a drag torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
