<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set different color conversion processes to print jobs and perform a process suitable for an object. <P>SOLUTION: A color matching process is performed on a data group corresponding to a gradation object, a variation trend of colors on the data group is detected based on a result of the color matching, and intermediate pixels are calculated by an interpolation operation from the data group.
