<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera usable underwater by solving the following problem: there occur increases in the cost and size of a digital camera because a device such as a water pressure sensor is required as an application for underwater detection in order to automatically detect underwater use of the camera. <P>SOLUTION: Using an angular speed sensor and/or an acceleration sensor used for camera shake detection, underwater detection is performed from a frequency and frequency amplitude level detected by the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
