<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel driver to reduce an occurrence of overshooting/undershooting waveform on a source line voltage when switching polarity in a source driver. <P>SOLUTION: In a display panel drive, a positive output amplifier outputs a positive output voltage to a positive output terminal. A negative output amplifier outputs a negative output voltage to a negative output terminal. An output switch circuit controls electrical connections between the positive and negative output terminals and a source line of display panel. When switching polarity, the output switch circuit turns off the electrical connections. A switch-off period includes at least part of an output fixation period. During the output fixation period, a positive output fixation part fixes a voltage of the positive output terminal to a positive fixation voltage, and a negative output fixation part fixes a voltage of the negative output terminal to a negative fixation voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
