<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise step stool, which enables a person to exercise through ascending and descending movement suitable for training muscular strength of legs and a middle according to age and physical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The exercise step stool is such that both edges of the upper surface of a rectangular, thick wooden base are attached with opposite vertical support plates respectively so as to be substantially parallel to each other. An inner side face of each of the support plates for a stepping board has a plurality of grooves for height adjustment, into which the stepping board is inserted.
