<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si alloy excellent in extrusion property. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy containing Mg and Si is useful for especially an extrusion objective. The alloy includes an Al-Mn-Fe-Si dispersoid particle which is formed during equalization, and works as a nuclearization site of many small Mg<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Si particles during cooling after the equalization, and comprises, by wt.%, Mg of 0.3-0.5, Si of 0.35-0.6, Mn of 0.03-0.06, Cr of maximum 0.05, Zn of maximum 0.15, Cu of maximum 0.1, and Fe of 0.08-0.28; a crystal grain refining element of maximum 0.1 wt.%; and an accidental impurity of maximum 0.15 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
