<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolute attitude determination system which operates without conventional restrictions. <P>SOLUTION: The attitude system includes radiation means which moves in a predetermined way through a three-dimensional space; and is configured to superpose cyclic Doppler effect on a transmission signal, to receive the transmission signal through reception means moving in a predetermined way through the three-dimensional space, to superpose the cyclic Doppler effect on a reception signal thereof, to analyze a relative movement of the reception means to the radiation means by interpreting the received cyclic Dopper effect, and to determine the attitude based upon the interpreted Dopper effect. Alternatively, the attitude system is configured to minimize the cyclic Dopper effect superposed on the reception signal by adjusting the movement of the reception means in the three-dimensional space, and to determine the attitude through adjustments needed to place the reception means and radiation means in an array state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
