<p>A communication system is provided with a plurality of reception nodes, and a transmission node. The transmission node is provided with a transmission unit, a node grouping unit, and a sub-carrier selection unit. The transmission unit is constituted to perform simultaneous multicast data transmission to the plurality of reception nodes using at least one of a plurality of sub-carriers. The node grouping unit is constituted to refer to transmission path status information which indicates the status of a transmission path of each reception node, divide the plurality of reception nodes into a plurality of transmission groups on the basis of a classification criterion relating to the status of the transmission path, and create transmission group sets. The sub-carrier selection unit is constituted to refer to the transmission path status information, and select a sub-carrier for simultaneous multicast data transmission from the plurality of sub-carriers, with respect to each transmission group of the transmission group sets. The transmission unit is constituted to perform simultaneous multicast data transmission sequentially to the plurality of transmission groups of the transmission group sets, using the sub-carrier selected by the sub-carrier selection unit.</p> |
