<p>The present invention relates to the field of communications, especially to a local IP access (LIPA) connection release method, and a device and system therefor, which are used to release in a timely manner the LIPA connection established in a current serving cell by a user equipment (UE) when the Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) ID of the current serving cell of the UE has expired in the CSG subscription information of the UE. The method comprises the following steps: detecting that the CSG ID of the current serving cell of the UE has expired in the CSG subscription information of the UE; determining whether the LIPA connection established for the UE exists in the current serving cell, and instructing a local gateway (L-GW) in the current serving cell to release the LIPA connection when confirmed that the LIPA connection exists. This ensures that a LIPA connection which can not be used any more may be released in a timely manner, thus saving system resources, reducing to a certain extent the system operation load, and ensuring system performance.</p> |
