Provided is a control cable configured in such a manner that, although the control cable has support sections for an outer casing and a seal member has a large outer diameter, the outer diameter of a casing cap is small. A casing cap is provided with: an outer casing housing section having a bottom section on the side thereof which faces an inner cable guide hole, the outer casing housing section coaxially communicating with the inner cable guide hole and housing an end of the outer casing; outer casing support sections protruding inward from the portion of the peripheral wall of the outer casing housing section, the portion being located on the bottom section side thereof, and supporting a part of an end surface of the outer casing; and seal member inserting and engaging sections each surrounded by side walls of outer casing supporting sections, a peripheral wall adjacent to the side walls, and the bottom section. A seal member is inserted and engaged in the seal member inserting and engaging sections. The seal member comprises: side wall contact sections coming into contact with the side walls; peripheral wall contact sections coming into contact with the peripheral walls adjacent to the side walls; a bottom-section contact sections coming into contact with the bottom section, and an inner cable insertion hole having a portion having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the inner cable.
