<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment and detachment of a presser foot or a presser holder which is detachably attached to a presser bar. <P>SOLUTION: An operation member 36 having an elliptical head part 37 is turnably provided on an attachment receiving part 35 at the lower end of a presser bar 10. A cam surface 38 is formed on the right end surface of the head part 37 of the operation member 36. A circular recessed part 21b is provided on an attachment wall part 21 of a presser holder 14, and a horizontally long elliptical fitting hole 21c is provided so as to pass through the bottom of the circular recessed part 21b to a right side surface. While the head part 37 of the operation member 36 is horizontally oriented so as to be in an unlocked position, the fitting hole 21c is fitted to the head part 37, and the head part 37 is turned approximately 90° so as to be switched to a locked position. This causes the cam surface 38 to press the bottom surface of the circular recessed part 21b, so that the attachment wall part 21 is brought into close contact with the attachment receiving part 35, and the presser holder 14 is thereby fixed to the presser bar 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
