<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring a machine tool, and a machine tool, allowing a user to quickly and easily know a current machining state related to vibration, and to effectively derive an optimum machining condition. <P>SOLUTION: A device for monitoring a vertical machining center, includes: a vibration sensor for detecting vibration accompanying machining; a rotation detector and a rotation detection section for detecting rotation of a main shaft; a stable limit and vibration distribution calculation section for preparing a stable limit diagram F1 showing a relation between a rotational speed of the main shaft and a stable limit of machining and a vibration distribution diagram F2 showing a relation between the rotational speed and the vibration, based on vibration information detected by the vibration sensor and the rotational speed of the main shaft detected by the rotation detector and the rotation detection section, and displaying both of the diagrams on a monitor so as to be vertically arranged. The stable limit and vibration distribution calculation section displays a current rotational speed of the main shaft with a straight line L extending through the stable limit diagram F1 and the vibration distribution diagram F2 and being orthogonal to an axis of the rotational speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
