<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure in acidic gas treatment and the excessive addition of an alkali agent, which are caused by delay in measurement by an acidic-gas measurement device, without additionally introducing an expensive acidic-gas measurement device, in feedback control. <P>SOLUTION: This method for treating acidic gas includes the following processes: a process in which the ranges of at least two gradients in concentration of acidic gas are set; a process in which target values in controlling the concentration of the acidic gas are set for each of the ranges of at least the two gradients concerned; and a process in which a control output value, which indicates the amount of an alkali agent to be added, is computed on the basis of at least a measurement signal by an acidic-gas measurement device and the control target values concerned. In the process in which the control target values are set, the control target values, which are set in case that the ranges of the gradients in concentration of the acidic gas are large (when the acidic gas tends to increase), are smaller than the control target values which are set in case that the ranges of the gradients in concentration of the acidic gas are small (when the acidic gas tends to decrease). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
