<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an ink loader of a phase change ink imaging device with more flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: The device 10 includes the ink loader having a pull-out drawer-type component 100 that allows at least the insertion region or insertion section of the ink loader to be moved laterally with respect to a housing 11 of the device 10 from a substantially enclosed position within the housing 11 to an accessible position where the insertion openings are accessible and ink stick insertion is enabled.
